Prior to your first visit at Walton Orthodontics, it would be very helpful for you to bring any panoramic dental x-rays that you have had taken within the past six months, along with your insurance card, so that our knowledgeable team can give you an accurate estimate of your costs.

Together We Will Create a Personalized Treatment Plan Especially for You!

We realize that each patient will have a different course of treatment and therefore we will work together to create a personalized treatment plan especially for you. The initial visit with Dr. Walton, our Suwanee & Cumming orthodontic specialist, will include a thorough orthodontic exam and a discussion of possible treatment options and costs. The first visit usually lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

The initial orthodontic exam will allow our team to learn what issues will need to be addressed during your treatment, such as:

  • Is the treatment needed immediately or should it be delayed based on other orthodontic factors?
  • What are the best treatment options for your orthodontic issues?
  • Should permanent teeth be removed to facilitate treatment?
  • What is the treatment timeline?
  • How much will the treatment cost and what are the payment options?

If orthodontic treatment is required, our staff will assist you in making an appointment for diagnostic records follow-up visit will include taking digital photographs, in-depth measurements of the face and teeth, and specialized radiographs, including both a Panorex and cephalogram.
